World Central Kitchen’s Work in Ukraine Inspired Drew to Donate - Here’s How You Can Too

Since the crisis in Ukraine began, chef José Andrés and his organization World Central Kitchen have been providing relief to Ukrainian refugees through food. World Central Kitchen, an organization that gives free meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises, has been stationed in six countries to support families who have escaped their homes.
With outposts in Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Spain, WCK continues to make nearly 200,000 hot meals a day for Ukrainian refugees in need of support. In Lviv, Ukraine alone, World Central Kitchen is pumping out nearly 10,000 sandwiches a day.
Altogether, the organization has donated nearly 4 million meals, and when Drew heard about their incredible initiative, she was beyond touched. The icon pledged to donate $500,000 of her own money towards WCK’s efforts and is hoping to inspire others to match so that a donation goal of $1 million is reached.
