Charred String Beans

  • 1 Pound String Beans Stem ends removed
  • 3 Tbsp Neutrally Flavored Cooking Oil Canola or peanut oil.
  • 2 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

INSTRUCTIONS:



1.    Preheat the broiler.



2.    Toss the beans with oil and spread out in an even layer on a sheet tray. Place the beans in the preheated oven for 3-4 minutes. Remove the tray from the oven, rearrange the beans to allow for maximum browning. Place the beans back in the oven for 3-4 minutes.



3.    While the beans are in the oven, whisk together the rice wine vinegar, soy and Dijon. 



4.    Drizzle the charred beans with the vinaigrette and transfer to a serving dish.
