Drew Barrymore Wonderfully Pays Homage to NYC Rom-Com Moments Like Sleepless in Seattle

Entertainment & Celebs

Drew's going all out for our Season 2!

To celebrate our second season of The Drew Barrymore Show, Drew's going all out! She's gathered her Drew Crew members to put together to pay homage to some of the greatest romantic comedies that take place in New York City.

1. When Harry Met Sally

While there's a lot to love about this classic movie, who can forget Meg Ryan's scene in the New York staple that is Katz's Delicatessen? Drew certainly didn't forget, and had our favorite designer Mikel Welch saying, "I'll have what she's having!"

2. Sleepless in Seattle

Did someone call for another Meg Ryan movie? We've got you covered! This 1993 film gave us all the warm and fuzzy feelings, and forever romanticized the symbol that is the Empire State Building! (And doesn't Ross Mathews make a dashing Sam Baldwin??)

3. Sex and the City

It's impossible to talk about iconic movies shot in New York City without mentioning the TV series turned movie franchise (that's coming back with new episodes soon)!  And just as Steve was always there for Miranda when she really needed him, our Pilar Valdes is never too far from Drew's side, especially while recreating this heartfelt scene on the Brooklyn Bridge!

4. Working Girl

And you know we couldn't finish our NYC Rom-Com movie round-up without mentioning the work of art that is this movie! Just as Tess McGill eventually navigates her way, our leading lady Drew is finding her own way in the Big Apple (and on NYC staples like the Staten Island Ferry)!
